Former councilor of Bacolod City Lyndon Caña passed away yesterday, November 4, his brother John Paul Caña confirmed.
We long to hold you more, Nong Lyndon. But Jesus longs to hold you more, John Paul said in his post on Facebook.
“We thank you all, praver warriors, family friends and relatives that stood with us in prayer for the life of Manong Lyndon,” John Paul added.
Caña previously served the city as a member of the city council where he framed the controversial ordinance for the city to take over the operation of the port at the reclamation area from the management of BREDCO.
He was also CIBAC Partylist Nominee and one of the Top 10 Outstanding Councilors of the Philippines.
He was known as an anti corruption crusader of Bacolod including his stand against vote buying.
