The City of San Carlos is replicating Bacolod’s Emergency Operations Center in its fight against COVID-19.
The decision to put-up its own EOC was made after retired Maj. Gen. Mel Feliciano visited the city before he ended his 2-month stint in Bacolod as chief implementer for Visayas.
City Mayor Renato Gustilo said the EOC will focus on containing the local transmission in the city after the city decided to dismantle its check-up points last Ocotber 31.
Similar to Bacolod’s EOC, the center will operate 24/7, equipped with trained contact tracers and swabbers, per recommendation of Feliciano.
