Is Pearl Joy Galve, who was found in a decomposing state after disappearing for two weeks, a victim of hazing?
An autopsy report revealed that she may have been brutally mauled, with multiple blunt trauma injuries found on various parts of her body, a police official said on Tuesday, August 27.
Police said that based on the autopsy results, Galve, a grade 10 student from Sum-ag National High School, suffered blunt trauma on her head, neck, chest, and both upper and lower extremities.
The police however cannot confirm whether the victim had been raped due to the advanced state of decomposition of her body.
Galve went missing on July 29 and was found dead in a sugarcane field in La Carlota City on August 14.
