The 29th Panaad sa Negros Festival officially opened yesterday, March 24, delivering a spectacular showcase of the province’s rich cultural heritage with 18,000 audiences from across the province gathered to witness the vibrant performances.
The Kadalag-an Festival of Victorias City once again proved its dominance in the City Category, securing a remarkable “Grandslam” victory after claiming the championship for the third consecutive year.
In the Municipal Category, the Bailes De Luces of La Castellana emerged as the champions, dazzling spectators with their dazzling costumes and energetic routines. The competition was fierce, with each participating municipality showcasing the unique traditions of their respective locales.

The dance competition featured a total of 21 Local Government Units, comprising 13 municipalities and 8 cities, each presenting their unique cultural expressions.
