Mayor Javier Miguel “Javi” Benitez spearheaded the groundbreaking ceremonies for three significant projects in Victorias City on April 15, marking a step forward in the city’s infrastructure and educational development.

Among these major projects is the new Victorias City Motorpool Facility, that will be located in Hda. Ofelia, Barangay XIV. This facility aims to streamline the city’s vehicle maintenance, repair, and storage, enhancing the efficiency of its fleet operations and addressing the city’s growing logistical needs.
Benitez highlighted the need for an upgraded motorpool to accommodate additional service vehicles and expressed his ambition to incorporate electric vehicles into the city’s fleet for a more sustainable approach. The project is a collaborative effort between the city government and contractors Supreme ABF Construction & Construction Supply Co. Inc. and EMR Builders & Development Corporation.
The city broke ground for two new Child Development Centers in Villa Victorias, Barangay XIII. Funded by the Special Education Fund, these centers will provide a safe and stimulating learning environment for young children.
Benitez stressed the importance of early education and the city’s commitment to its Inclusive Education Agenda, ensuring that all children have the support they need to succeed. TMTC Construction & Supply Corporation is undertaking the construction of these centers.
The events included a ceremonial signing of plans, a time capsule dropping, and the official groundbreaking.
