The town of Toboso in Negros Occidental is now COVID-19 free. This was confirmed by Mayor Richard Jaojoco on his Facebook post.
According to the town mayor all 21 COVID-19 patients had fully recovered as of yesterday.
The municipality of Toboso was the first to placed its entire community under community lockdown following the spike of cases in the province.
It has also mobilized series of relief operations for their constituents working or have been stranded in Bacolod due to the community quarantine by sending truckload of food packs.
