Teleperformance is the second business process outsourcing operator in Bacolod City to announce that it will provide free COVID-19 vaccines for their employees.

In a press statement, Teleperformance said the provision of free access to vaccines for all its employees is part of the company’s commitment to promote the safety and welfare of its employees.

According to the BPO operator, they are currently collaborating with government agencies to quickly secure the supply of safe and effective vaccines that are approved by the Food and Drugs Administration. The goal is to vaccinated its 47,000 workers around the country.

By offering the vaccine as a free, optional benefit, Teleperformance aims not only to honor its commitment to protecting its workforce against the deadly virus, but also to help the government address the pandemic with agile, large-scope support of vaccination programs deployed at the corporate level, the company said.

Meanwhile, the City of Bacolod has expanded its mass vaccination venue at the cinema lobby at the southwing of SM City starting today.

The 5-day vaccination at SM City will run until May 7, from 10 AM to 5 PM, to accommodate the remaining frontline healthcare workers, senior citizens, and persons with co-morbidities who were not inoculated yet.

Their schedule of vaccination is based on a first-come-first-served sequence in the order that their registration came into the City’s database.

For crowd control and physical distancing protocols, walk-ins are not allowed.
