A member of the barangay council of Brgy. 12-A in Talisay City was apprehended by operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in a drug bust operation at Brgy. Mandalagan, yesterday, December 3. Operatives were also able to seized P1 million worth of suspected drugs.
The kagawad who was identified by operatices as Jan Michael Astoraga was considered a high-value target.Also nabbed were Dino Dimson, a resident of Brgy. Granada and Angelo Abelarde of Brgy. Mandalagan. The three were monitored by PDEA for almost 2-3 weeks.
The 3 were arrested after an undercover agent of the anti-drug agency transact 5grams of suspected shabu valued at P14,500.
The suspects are now under the custody of PDEA and will face drug charges.
