A residential fire swept through a home in City Heights Subdivision, Barangay Taculing, early this morning, June 30, 2025, claiming the lives of a senior citizen couple who were trapped in their home.
The victims were identified as Edison and Emilyn Hibionada.
Authorities recovered the body of Emilyn at their dining area, while Edison was found in his hospital bed.
As of press time, the cause of the fire has yet to be determined. Authorities are investigating to ascertain the origin of the blaze.
