The San Carlos City Hospital (SCCH) has been recognized for its commitment to sustainability by earning a 4-Green Star Rating from the Department of Health (DOH). The award was bestowed during the Green Health Facilities Technical Conference held on December 2 in Clark, Pampanga.
With a remarkable score of 86.51%, SCCH stands as a model of a Green and Safe Health Facility among 176 hospitals nationwide. This achievement underscores the hospital’s unwavering dedication to implementing environmentally friendly practices that prioritize patient well-being and contribute to a healthier planet.
Acting Chief of City Hospital, Dr. Renan Sanchez, and Administrative Officer Charlen Pol Bistis-Anlap proudly accepted the award on behalf of SCCH. Anlap expressed her gratitude and emphasized that this recognition will further motivate the hospital to introduce more sustainable initiatives, elevating healthcare standards and creating a safer, greener, and more climate-resilient facility.A
