Regional meet swimming champ from Trinity Christian School

Bacolod Trinity Christian School’s Swimming Secondary Girls Team has emerged as the over-all champion in the recently concluded Western Visayas Regional Athletics Association at Makato, Aklan.

The TCS swimming team proved to be a cut above the rest, winning several events and setting new records in the process.

The competition saw top swimmers from across the region vying for the top spot, and it was a keenly contested affair. However, the TCS swimming team’s victory was especially sweet, as they had worked tirelessly for months in preparation for the competition.

Miracle works, Rose Ann Diwatin, TCS Sports Coordinator, said as she expressed her thanks to all who supported and prayed for the team.

The team’s victory has brought great pride and honor to Trinity Christian School, and they will undoubtedly be remembered as swimming champions for years to come, the school said in a statement.

The final results for swimming are as follows: Alezxi Kouzenye Cabayaran won gold medals in 400m freestyle, 200m freestyle, 200m backstroke, 50m backstroke, 800m freestyle, and 4×100 freestyle relay, and a silver medal in 4×50 medly relay.

Juliane Emille Sevillana won a silver medal in 4×50 Medly Relay and a bronze medal in 800 freestyle. Janine Dela Paz won a silver medal in 4×50 freestyle relay and a gold medal in 4×100 freestyle relay.

All of them qualified for Palarong Pambansa.
