Police has arrested the security guard who allegedly shot and killed a former employee in a hardware and construction supply firm in Brgy. Mansilingan.
Police Precint 7 station commander Lt. Conrado Espino Jr., confirmed that the suspect was arrested in a hot pursuit operation in coordination with the Kabankalan police.
The 25-year-old suspect who was identified as Antonio Enanoria, a stay-in security, was arrested in Brgy. Tabugon, Kabankalan City.
Initial investigation shows that the suspect shot the victim three times after resisting to leave the compound. Killed on the spot was Joebe Nativadad Jr. of Barangay Granada, a former employee who was terminated from his job as a forklift operator.
Police reports said that the victim who was under the influence of intoxicating drink, went to the warehouse to borrow a screwdriver to fix his motorcycle. He was left inside the premises by another guard guard until Enanoria forced him to moved out of the viccinity.
Police recovered two empty shells of a shotgun and one fired cartridge from the scene of the crime. The firearm was also recovered at the guard house.
