The leading telecommunications provider, PLDT, confirmed in an advisory released today, December 27 that it is currently having connectivity issues resulting to slow loading of some apps and websites.

The telco giant attributed the connectivity issues to one of its international cable systems servicing both PLDT and Smart.

Since last night, PLDT users started complaining of unstable connections in some areas in Bacolod affecting work from home agents of major call centers and those doing online/virtual jobs.

PLDT said it is now working with their partners to address the concern and have utilize other channels to minimize the impact.
