Let Leni lead. This was the call made by Negros Occidental Gov. Eugenio Lacson at the celebration of the International Women’s Day on March 8 at the Provincial Capitol building that was attended by women employees of the province.

The governor re-emphasized his call to support the presidential bid of Vice President Leni Robredo before he distributed pinl roses to honor all the working women at the capitol.

Lacson is set to join the series of political rallies that Robredo will hold in the province on March 11. The vice president is expected to make a stop in San Carlos City, the hometown of the governor before she will head to Kabankalan City.

Robredo’s grand political rally will take place at the Paglaum Sports Complex on the evening of Friday. Organizers expect a huge crowd to attend the rally as supporters from both the Northern and Southern Negros are expected to convene in Bacolod.

Aside from the old sports complex, the organizers will also occupy the parking area of the Cybercenter. They also anticipate that portions of Hernaez-Lacson Street will be filled with supporters.
