The Bacolod LGU plans to put up for bidding the construction of a 223-million-peso, 4-storey building to replace the Old City Hall.

This is one of the mega-projects of the administration of Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez, which is part of the LGU’s 4.4-billion-peso loan from the Development Bank of the Philippines.
According to City Engineer Loben Raphael Ceballos, the Old City Hall will undergo a total renovation.
Based on the presented perspective, the project will have a library on the fourth floor, government offices, commercial spaces, and basement parking.
The development will also include a covered fountain of justice.
