Missing minors located in Himamaylan

[UPDATE 1] The two missing minors who were earlier reported as missing were found in Himamaylan City, their relatives confirmed.

The mom of one of the boys, who works abroad, also confirmed the return of his son and thanked everyone who helped locate her son.

Stefanie Sevilla, earlier sought the help of the public to find her sonn through a Facebook post, after she was informed that her son went missing.

She posted: “Bsi kah kita kamu xang bata kuh kg hinabalos palihog kuh contak xa akon..perti kah sakit xang nkabalo kuh mawla kuh mahimu ky ari kuh d xa layo
joseph puli nah nd nku d ka agwanta gabay ara lg kmu sa mau dah mkapuli nah kmu na safe. (If you see my child and my nephew, please contact me. It pains me that I cannot do so much because I am in a far away place.  Joseph please go home as I cannot stand the situation.  Be home safe.)

The missing boys, identified as Joseph (Sevilla’s son) and his nephew (name withheld for privacy), are six and eight years old, respectively.

According to Noemi Dormido, their aunt, they were last seen playing with a 13-year-old girl in their neighborhood on Monday afternoon. The girl allegedly invited them to buy birds in Murcia town.

Dormido’s family has filed missing person reports with the police in Bago City, Himamaylan, and Murcia.

The family did not share further details on how the boys reached Himamaylan.
