The national police headquarters has recently provided a much-needed boost to the mobility of the Negros Occidental Provincial Police Office (NOCPPO), through the delivery of 6 brand new motorbikes.
The motorbikes were turned over to PCol Leo Pamattan, NOCPPO provincial director, in a simple ceremony held at Police Regional Office 6, Camp Martin Teofilo Delgado in Iloilo City last February 13.
The 6 light 150cc Honda Dirt Bike are expected to enhance the police force’s capacity to respond quickly to emergency situations and improve their overall patrolling capabilities.
According to Negros Occidental police Public Information Office, 1 unit of motorcycle will be allocated to police stations in Kabankalan City, Pulupandan, La Castellana, Hinigaran, and Hinobaan.
The distribution of the motorcycles is part of the PNP’s efforts to provide support to the local police force and ensure public safety.
