Mt. Kanlaon did not have any emission activities on Sunday, July 10 based on the advisory released by the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS).

According to PHIVOLCS no steaming or degassing activity at the active vent or crater of the volcano were logged as of 8AM on Sunday.
But PHIVOLCS said that in the last 24 hours, the low-level unrest of the volcano resumed, emitting up to 300 meters tall emission that drifted northwest. It has also monitored 4 volcanic earthquakes.
PHIVOLCS said that possible hazards can still occur, including sudden steam-driven or phreatic eruptions.
Entry into 4-kilometer radius Permanent Danger Zone (PDZ) is still prohibited.
