Electric consumers in areas covered by Negros Occidental Electric Cooperative (NOCECO) experienced another round of power interruption late this afternoon due to generation deficiency.

In a statement released by NOCECO, it said that power supply was tripped off at around 4:40pm affecting NOCECO Naga, Overflow, Cauayan and Sipalay substations.

This resulted to power outage in cities of Himamaylan, Kabankalan and Sipalay, towns of Ilog, Candoni, Cauayan and Hinoba-an.

NOCECO is currently coordinating with NGCP.

Meanwhile, the Northern Negros Electric Cooperative reported that at around 3pm today, it has also shutdown its 10MVA substation affecting the entire Cadiz City due to the continuing manual load dropping request from NGCP.

The Central Negros Electric Cooperative (CENECO), which covers the whole of Metro Bacolod said that all its feeders were already online as of 3:10 this afternoon.
