Negros Occidental Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer will serve as acting governor of the province from August 29 to September 1, 2023.
This is in accordance with an executive order issued by Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson, who will be in Singapore during those days.
Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran is also the acting mayor of Bacolod City.
