Property giant Megaworld has opened what it described as the “Philippines Most Beautiful McDonald’s Store within its 44-hectare The Upper East in Bacolod City.

No less than Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez grace the opening of store inspired by the revelry and excitement of the world-famous Masskara Festival, yesterday morning, October 10.

The new McDonald’s NXTGen store is the second store opened within the Megaworld property in the city.

This iconic store features the world’s first McDonald’s dessert station on a train and pays tribute to Bacolod City’s Masskara Festival with the giant masks as part of its exterior design.

Eugene Reducindo, managing director of Choice Gourmet Banquet, Inc., the company that franchises and operates Megaworld-owned McDonald’s stores said they envison to make it a ‘destination McDonald’s’, more than just a place where everyone can enjoy eating their favorite McDonald’s meals.

The store which sits next to the entrance of the Upper East has a 2,200-square meter landscaped, a curated park and offers an open alfresco dining area, making it the biggest alfresco facility for McDonald’s in the Philippines.

It can accommodate 300 customers and also offer a co-working space and a separate area for Mc Café customers.

It is also the first McDonald’s store in Western Visayas that has a Side-by-Side (Double Lane) Drive-Thru facility where drive-thru diners can order via Customer Order Displays.
