MassKara sa Panaad set to open on Oct 10

All set for the MassKara sa Pana-ad that is scheduled to open on October 10, Monday, according to Provincial Administrator Atty. Rayfrando Diaz.

The festivities which will run until October 16, as part of the second week of activities of MassKara festival, will feature the booth and pavilions of the 32 towns and cities, including Bacolod City.

Diaz said there will be a food parade to showcase various delicacies of each local government unit for the duration of the festival.

The provincial government has allotted P100,000 financial assistance for each LGU that will be participating in the festivities.

At least 180 police personnel will also be fielded around Panaad Park and Stadium in Brgy. Mansilingan to secure local and visitors who are expected to flocked at the venue for 6 days.

The re-opening of Panaad sa Negros to support MassKara activities will also serve as a dry run for the full return of the festival of all festival by summer next year. Like other festivities, the Panaad sa Negros was also halted for 2 straight years due to restrictions brought by COVID-19 pandemic.
