The province of Negros Occidental has recently been awarded the National Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) Performance Award for its outstanding efforts in the campaign against illegal drugs.

The award was presented by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) to Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson to recognize the Capitol’s exemplary performance in the implementation of programs and initiatives aimed at addressing drug abuse and addiction in the province.

The award was based on the ADAC’s assessment of the Capitol’s performance in four areas: advocacy and empowerment, capability enhancement, resource allocation, and program implementation.
