Gov. Bong Lacson and La Castellana Mayor Rhumyla Nicor-Mangilimutan led the inauguration of the La Castellana New Public Market, Mandayao Legacy Park and Tourism Comfort Room, yesterday, July 8.
The activity started with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, blessing of the structure, and ceremonial turn over of the public market, witnessed by the local officials and other guests.
Mayor Mangilimutan thanked Gov. Lacson for the provincial government’s support to the development projects of her town. Gov. Lacson advised the local government and people of La Castellana to maintain the cleanliness and safety of the public market, which is the center of economy of every LGU.
Meanwhile, the Mandayao Legacy Park and Tourism Comfort Room projects are part of preparing the tourism industry under the new normal, not only in La Castellana but in the whole Fifth District of the province.
Also present in the activity were La Castellana Vice Mayor Manuel Vera and Sangguniang Bayan Members, Provincial Tourism Officer, Dr. Jennylind Cordero, Provincial Engineer Ernie Mapa, Frankie Uy, and Federico Infante of the Municipality of Pulupandan.
