With one week left before the deadline for sim card registration, Globe is offering a 2X Rewards Campaign as an incentive to encourage its prepaid subscribers to fully register their existing sim cards.

The company’s Globe Rewards program grants special treats to loyal Globe and TM subscribers as a token of appreciation for their use of the company’s products and services. Through the campaign, customers who register their SIMs through the GlobeOne app will receive twice the rewards when they have P90 and above promo/load transactions or P50 and above transactions for TM customers.

Globe Rewards points can be earned through Prepaid reloads, monthly Postpaid usage, Globe At Home broadband plans, and Prepaid WiFi, and can be exchanged for data promos, digital vouchers, or used as payment at partner stores or donations to charitable institutions.

The 2X Rewards promo aims to encourage new and existing subscribers to comply with the SIM Registration Act, which aims to prevent fraud and other forms of cybercrime by establishing a registry of SIM users.

Jerome Patalud, head of Globe Rewards, urged subscribers to register their SIMs before the April 26 deadline to avoid inconvenience. Patalud also emphasized the importance of complying with the SIM Registration Act in preventing scams and other forms of online criminal activity, and Globe’s commitment to helping its customers comply. SIMs can be registered for free anytime and anywhere through https://new.globe.com.ph/simreg or the GlobeOne app. Failure to register within the specified period will lead to SIM deactivation.

Globe is ramping up its efforts to register its subscribers nationwide by providing SIM Registration Assistance in Globe Stores and EasyHubs nationwide.

The company has also deployed booths in remote areas and partnered with local government units, groceries, and malls to put up assisted registration booths in over 100 sites nationwide.

As of April 17, Globe has logged over 31 million SIM registrations out of its 86.7 million subscriber base, reflecting its commitment to compliance with the SIM Registration Act and making the online community safer and more secure.
