San Carlos City Mayor Renato Y. Gustilo donated 18 pairs of spike shoes to Tañon College Football Club on June 1 at the City Mayor’s Office.

The players of the club represented the city in the Palarong Panlalawigan 2023 last March 30-April 2 in Panaad Park and Stadium, Brgy. Mansilingan, Bacolod City, and won second place.

Tañon College FC Coach Lemuel Marabillo thanked Mayor Gustilo and other city officials for providing new shoes to their players, which will inspire them to practice more.

Marabillo added that the group is aiming to reach Palarong Pambansa next year. Tañon FC Team Captain Mjay Montero also thanked the football coaches in the city for helping the team achieve its goal and Mayor Gustilo for the spikes.

San Carlos City Negros Football Club coaches Roderick Parel and Francis Roy Barcuma were also present during the courtesy visit.
