A firetruck of the Bureau of Fire Protection in Bacolod City went viral after it was transformed into a bridal car, Saturday, May 21.

In photos shared by their wedding suppliers, that first appeared on RB Sweet FM, Fire Officer 1 Alan G. Plantillo II, Chief, Personnel and Training Unit of the Bacolod City Fire Station (BFP) and Haydee Sumaya-Plantillo were photographed on top of the firetruck that served as their bridal car during their wedding rites at the San Isidro Labrador Parish Church in Barangay Tangub, Bacolod City.
The fire engine has been decorated with flowers on its bumper, similar to a typical bridal car, and a tarpaulin with the text “just got married” was hung at the back of the truck.
Haydee considered the set-up as a unique wedding processional, and was first in city.
From San Isidro Labrador Parish Church, the newlywed concluded their celebration with a reception at Sugarland Hotel.

The couple got engaged on January 10, 2021, with the fire engine serving as their backdrop as well when Plantillo made his proposal on a rainy afternoon at the grounds of Provincial Capitol Lagoon.
