Three houses were burned in a fire that broke out in Zone 12, Barangay Handumanan, Bacolod City on Saturday, May 13.
The fire started at around 11:00 p.m. at the house of Barbie May Belaño. It quickly spread to the neighboring houses of Beverly Belaño and Donald Allaga.
The fire was put out by firefighters after about an hour. However, the three houses were completely destroyed and one was partially damaged.
The estimated cost of damage to property is P2.4 million.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
