Fifteen houses were gutted down by a fire that broke out in Purok Sambag, Barangay Zone 1 Poblacion, in the town of Murcia, today, April 14.
According to the initial investigation conducted by SFO3 Anne Bastian, the Municipal Fire Marshal of the BFP Murcia Fire Station, the fire started at 7:10 AM.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire and its source.
Meanwhile, Barangay Zone 1 Punong Barangay Nerissa “Kitty” Jimenea has announced that they will provide temporary shelter and assistance to the affected families.
