Government authorities through the Maritime Industry Authority has approved the resumption of sea travel between the cities of Bacolod and Iloilo starting November 1.
This development is in line with the executive orders issued earlier by both cities, approving commercial sea travel for authorized persons outside of residents.
The Marina however, clarified that only Western Visayas’ residents are allowed to travel.
Operators Ocean Jet and Weesam Express are set to resume their trips on October 31, while SuperCat will resume on November 1. Each fastcraft will operate a single trip, but schedules are yet to be approved by Marina.
