Expects outage as CENECO conducts 9-hour maintenance on July 23

Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. (CENECO) has announced that maintenance activities are scheduled for July 23, which will require a 9-hour power outage in certain areas served by Alijis Feeder 3 (AF3).

The maintenance acclivity is necessary to ensure the stability of distribution lines and prevent potential major interruptions, CENECO said in an advisory.

The affected areas during the power outage will include:

  • AF3 Alijis Road (from Alijis Substation to Pagla-um Village)
  • Provindencia Subd.
  • Prk. Gaisano
  • Celita Village
  • Negros Metal Corp. – ACCO Housing
  • La Villa Guadalupe Phase 1&2
  • Cosmos Bottling
  • Hillside Subd.
  • La Salle Ville
  • Carmen Ville
  • Hermelinda Homes
  • Kabugwason
  • East Homes 4, 5, and 6
  • Lion Ville
  • Pedrosa Village
  • Bacolod Homes Royal
  • Camella South
  • St. Vincent’s Subd.
  • Grandville 1, 2 & 3 Subd.
  • Forest Hill
  • Had. Gonzaga
  • Brgy. Mansilingan
  • Green Acres Subd.
  • Villa Magdalene

The scheduled power outage will commence at 6:00 AM and is expected to last until 3:00 PM on the same day. During this period, electricity supply will be temporarily unavailable in the mentioned areas.

CENECO emphasized that the maintenance activities are crucial to ensure the reliability and stability of the distribution lines. These measures are taken to prevent potential serious damages that could lead to more prolonged interruptions in the future.
