DTI exposes TrueCash; warns public vs fraudulent activities

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Negros Occidental has issued a public warning against TrueCash Lending Corporation saying it is an unlicensed lending entity operating in the region.

In an advisory, DTI Negros Occidental said that their investigations revealed that the company is not officially registered with the DTI, raising concerns about its legitimacy and potential for fraudulent activities.

The trade department exposed that the company presented a falsified business name certificate, further highlighting its deceptive practices.

The DTI’s investigation, in collaboration with the City of Silay’s Business Permits and Licensing Office, confirmed that TrueCash Lending Corp is not operating legally within the city, the advisory added.

According to DTI, numerous complaints have been reported, highlighting concerns about the entity.
