A food safety seminar will be held on March 8, hosted by the Department of Trade and Industry’s (DTI) Negosyo Center and the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) in San Carlos City.
The free seminar aims to educate local food businesses on the importance of food safety and how to ensure that their products are safe for consumption.
Participants are required to register ahead of time and bring a copy of their DTI BN certificate and Mayor’s Permit 2023. To register, interested business may visit the Negosyo Center-San Carlos City, located on the 2nd floor of the City Hall.
The seminar will be held at Park Marina Function Hall.
Topics that will be discussed during the seminar include the basics of food safety, food hazards, and how to prevent them, proper food handling and storage, and the proper labeling of food products. The speakers will also discuss the importance of good manufacturing practices and how to implement them in food businesses.
The seminar is open to all food businesses in San Carlos City and nearby areas.
