The Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office of Bacolod City has completed the disinfection and sanitation of Transcom after 41 of their employees tested positive of COVID-19.
But the facility will remain closed and will only be allowed to resume its call center operation on February 3, with a stricter health and safety measures.
In a series of photos shared by DRRMO, the team were shown decontaminating the call center facility where agents are taking calls, including its hallways, lockers, gym, sleeping area and canteen.
The decontamination was part of the city’s immediate response to curb the spread of the virus considering that the facility is enclosed, with no exposure to direct sunlight, plus it is fully air conditioned.
