The Department of Health reported yesterday, December 9, three new cases of COVID-19 Delta variant in Region 6.
Of the 3, the health department said that 1 patient was from Bacolod City. The rest were from Guimaras province.
The 3 new cases were part of the 48 samples that were sequenced by the Philippine Genome Center on Wednesday, December 8.
As of December 8, Negros Occidental had a total of 57 Delta cases and 97 in Bacolod City.
