CSA-B welcomes guests from Taiwan

The Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod (CSA-B) on January 18 welcomed a delegation from Nanhua University in Taiwan for a scholarship orientation aimed at Augustinian students from their Senior High School and college departments.

The activity provided students a glimpse into the exciting academic opportunities and scholarship possibilities available at Nanhua. Dr. Chun-Chun Lin, Dean of the Office of International and Cross-Strait Affairs, presented the university’s comprehensive scholarship program, outlining the range of tuition fees and showcasing the extensive facilities available to students.

Ms. Marian Castel, representing the Catholic Ming Yuan College (CMYC), further enriched the experience by sharing inspiring stories of current Nanhua University scholars from CSA-B and their journeys in Taiwan.

Adding to the event’s appeal, Mr. Yao Ming-Hong, a professor in the Master Program of Green Technology for Sustainability and CEO of the Sustainability Center, captivated the audience with his passion for green technology and his desire to welcome brilliant young minds to his laboratory. He enthusiastically discussed the cutting-edge green technology research conducted at Nanhua University and the exciting opportunities available to future scholars.

The Nanhua University delegation also presented a comprehensive overview of their academic departments, highlighting the Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degree programs offered across various disciplines. They showcased the achievements of notable alumni who have excelled in their chosen fields, further inspiring the CSA-B students.
