A male COVID-19 patient jumped off from the West Tower of Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital, past lunch today, January 24 and died.

Police Station 2 chief, Capt. Paul Vincent Pendon said the 68-year-old patient attempted to escape from the isolation facility by jumping off from the 5th floor of the building, unfortunately, he fell off the roof of the hospital’s water treatment facility which is an adjacent building. The victim sustained injuries resulting in his death.
The 68-year-old patient whose name is being withheld for his privacy was admitted at the regional hospital last January 21.
The victim’s body was retrieved at the edge of the roof of the water treatment facility.
