In celebration of the most romantic day of the year, 33 Saraviahanon couples will be saying “I do” in a Valentine’s Day mass wedding ceremony that will takes place at EB Maglona Public Plaza on February 14, 9 in the morning.

The ceremony, which will be officiated by Mayor Marvin Malacon, will feature a traditional wedding ceremony and an exchange of vows, rings, and a first kiss as newlyweds. The couples will then sign their marriage certificates, making their unions official in the eyes of the law.
According to EB Magalona Public Information Office, this is now the seventh year that Malacon will officiate the mass wedding in his town since he became mayor.
Luis Gonzales, chief statistical specialist of Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) in Bacolod, will be the guest of honor and speaker.
The Local Civil Registrar’s Office (LCRO), led by Mercedes Recla, and the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), headed by Jojo Vargas, organized pre-wedding activities for the 33 couples participating in the mass wedding.
The couples were given an orientation on Solid Waste Management (SWM) and, as a symbol of their shared responsibility to protect the environment, planted 200 mangrove seedlings at the Tomongtong Mangrove Eco-Trail prior to the wedding ceremony.
