Scheirman Construction Consolidated Inc. has started recruitment activity to hire local workers for the construction of 20,000 residential units for Bacolod City’s Yuhum Village.
The first mass hiring activity took place at a mega job fair organized by the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Bacolod at SM City Bacolod on March 21.
Aside from Scheirman, dozens of local employers and placement agencies also joined the job fair that promises over 17,000 jobs to Bacoleños just in one day.
Out of the 17,000 job openings, Scheirman is looking for at least 10,000 local workers, including project managers, project engineers, project architects, site officers, timekeepers, project HR personnel, MEPES supervisors, drivers, backhoe operators, surveyors, survey aides, and skilled workers to support its upcoming project. The construction agency flew in recruiters from Manila to supervise the initial hiring process.
Scheirman Construction Consolidated Inc. is the first to implement the Pambansang Pabahay Para Sa Pilipino Program (4PH) of the administration in partnership with Bacolod City LGU.
The joint venture agreement aims to provide housing to informal settler families (ISFs) and low-income earners in the city.
