Concentrix, a leading global provider of customer experience solutions and technology, is the first call center operator in Bacolod to offer free COVID-19 vaccine to their employees.

The confirmation from the call center giant came after the local government of Bacolod called on private establishments to bear the cost of vaccination for their employees.

As part of the trilateral agreement entered by the Philippine government and AstraZeneca, Concentrix confirmed that it has placed an intial 50,000 vaccines, half of it is for their workforce and another half will be donated to the government-identified priority sector.

The company which operates 2 sites in Bacolod is the first largest private employer to announce its plan to provide free vaccine to nearly 100,000 employees across the Philippines.

In a statement the company reassures their workers that they will do everything they can to embrace different ways to show their care, including the provision of free vaccine should employees opt to take it.

The vaccination will commence as soon as government authorities are able to get the vaccine into the country, the company said in its statement.

Aside from AstraZeneca, Concentrix also hopes to get access from other pharmaceuticals once the vaccines are approved by the Philippine government.
