The City Health Office in Bacolod City has advised a total of 61 water refilling stations operating within the city to cease its operations due to lack of necessary permits.

According to Dr. Grace Tan, head of Environmental Sanitation Division of City Health Office, the 61 water refilling stations were order to shutdown its operations due to failure to present its business permits following an inspection.

The CHO inspected a total of 142 water refilling stations and only 81 had permits as of Friday, September 23, Tan said.

Tan said owners were advised to complete their permits before they can resume its operations.

This is to ensure the safety of the consumers, she explained.
