CENECO sets 6AM-3PM power outage on March 18

The Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. (CENECO) has announced a scheduled power outage on Saturday, March 18, from 6am to 3pm.

The maintenance activities aim to ensure the stability of distribution lines and prevent serious damages that may cause major power interruptions.

The activities include the replacement of reloading motors, feeder protection, XLPE cable, and primary poles, as well as the integration of SCADA communication and connectivity function, preventive maintenance of the Murcia Substation and related accessories, installation of additional feeder lines, and tree clearing activities.

The affected areas cover several barangays, subdivisions, in Murcia to include:

MUF1 Prk. Manayaosayao, Canlaon View Subd.,Tanduay, Proper Blumintritt, Golf and Country Club, Villa Hermelinda Subd., Teres II Subd., Nestle MUF2 Marian missionaries, Hda. Josefa II, Hda. Olive 2, Had.Jovelanos, Binitin,Candongon,Cansilayan, Murcia and Don Salvador Benedicto, the whole municipalities of Murcia and Don Salvador Benedicto.Brgy. Lopez Jaena to Mambucal, Had. Mala, Co Salazar,(R14): Brgy. Alegria, Brgy. Sta. Cruz, CPAC (Central Philippine Adventist College), Country Homes, Firmville, Iglau-an, Talotog, Buenavista, Salvacion, Caliban, Nature’s Spring Subd.

CENECO reminds electricity consumers to turn-off electrical switches during the power interruption for safety reasons.
