CENECO sets 2-day power outage in Bacolod & Bago cities

The Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc (CENECO), is scheduling a 2-day power outages in some areas in Bago City and in Brgy. Mansilingan, Bacolod City due to a scheduled maintenance activities on April 29 and 30.

On April 29, CENECO said barangays Claridad, Allanza and Don Jorge Araneta in Bago City will experience power outage from 8:30am to 4pm. Meanwhile, Trese Y Medya to Camingawan 2 and Prk. San Fernado, Brgy. Taloc, all within the jurisdiction of Bago City will also experience power outage from 9am to 1pm.

During this time, CENECO said it will replace a damaged distribution transformer at Distillera de Bago and conduct tree clearing activities in Brgy. Clardiad.

Meanwhile, a 5-hour power outage is also expected in portion of Mansilingan Subd., Cattleya St., Maya
St., Punay St., Hillside Subd., Pump House, Ta-ala Farms, 7G Tyko, Inc., Prk. Kabugwason, East Hornes 4, 5, 6, and portion of Villa Maria Reyna (Gate 1).l on April 30.

During this time, CENECO will install primary line accessories and assemblies, reconfiguration of C2 assembly to C8, installation of three 50kVa private-owned distribution transformers with accessories, and stringing of its service wires.

Meanwhile, the Northern Negros Electric Cooperative(NONECO) in a separate announcement said that electric consumers in portion of Brgy. Tigbao and the whole area of Brgy. Mahilom in Calatrava town will also experience a service interruption from 8AM-5PM on April 30 as they implement line improvement of Calatrava-Toboso Feeder as part of continuous reliability project, in preparation for the upcoming election.
