The Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. (CENECO) advises its consumers of a scheduled power interruption on Saturday, April 6, from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
In an advisory posted on its official Facebook page, it said that this outage is necessary for their team to conduct critical maintenance activities aimed at ensuring the stability and reliability of power distribution lines in the affected areas.
The planned maintenance includes:
- Preventive maintenance and integrity testing of a 10MVA power transformer and related equipment.
- Integration of a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) facility at the substation.
- Replacement of damaged primary poles.
- Tree clearing activities to prevent future disruptions.
The scheduled power interruption will impact consumers residing in areas served by Lopez Feeders (LF1, LF2, and LF3). These areas include:
- LF1: Caneland (AIDSISA), Mansiguinon, Lantawan, Brgy. Guimbalaon, Brgy. Kapitan Ramon, Brgy. Patag, E. Lopez, Hda. Pula, Hda. Napilas 2, Sitio Hiyang2x, Tayap Proper, Patag, Hda. Macamig 2, Hda. Caridad.
- LF2: Provincial Hospital, portion of Silay st, Olaybar St., Villa Hergon, Villa hergon Phase 2, Hda. Matagoy, Burgos St., Bonifacio St.
- LF3: Hawaiian Central, Silay, Brgy. Balaring, SitioBungol, SitioMambag-id, SitioBeraño, portion of Brgy. Lantad
