The Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc., with an almost perfect score of 99.25%, once again sealed a Triple A status from the National Electrification Administration (NEA).
The result was based on the recently-released evaluation of the Electric Cooperatives (ECs) Overall Performance Assessment and Size Classification for the 2019 calendar year.
The Triple A Category is the highest rating given by NEA to ECs who have excellently performed in their operations, and have been compliant to the Financial, Institutional, Technical and Reportorial standards set forth by NEA.
In a press statement, CENECO said maintaining a Triple A status for four consecutive years only proves CENECO’s remarkable overall performance as an electric cooperative, serving the principal cities and municipalities in Central Negros.
With this milestone, CENECO Board of Directors, management and staff would like to thank the member-consumer-owners (MCOs) for their unwavering support to the Electric Cooperative, it added.
CENECO Acting General Manager, Atty. Danny Pondevilla said the cooperative is committed to fulfil its mission of being the primary economic driver for community development through quality service at reasonable rates.
CENECO Board of Directors, Management and staff recently welcomed the appointment of Pondevilla as Project Supervisor and Acting General Manager as approved by NEA.
