Cebu Pacific is set to launch new direct flights from Iloilo to Tacloban and Zamboanga, the Gokongwei-led airline said in a press statement.

According to Cebu Pacific the Iloilo-Tacloban route will operate four times a week starting October 27, while the Iloilo-Zamboanga route will commence on October 28 and operate thrice weekly. A Piso sale is is currently on-going to promote these new routes.

These new routes will expand the airline’s domestic network and provide more travel options for passengers in the Visayas and Mindanao regions.

In addition to these new domestic routes, Cebu Pacific is also launching the Iloilo-Singapore route in November and expanding its international network with Davao-Hongkong and Clark-Tagbilaran flights.

This expansion is part of the airline’s goal to fly 24 million passengers this year. Cebu Pacific has invested P60 billion in capital expenditure for aircraft-related spending and has received seven of the 18 aircraft deliveries expected for 2024.

The airline is also finalizing a P1.4 trillion aircraft order for up to 152 A321neo jets with Airbus.
