After a three-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the provincial government of Negros Occidental is set to relaunch the Panaad Festival on Monday of next week, February 13.

Dubbed as “the festival of all festivals” of the province, the Panaad sa Negros will take place from April 17-23, according to Capitol.
Provincial Administrator lawyer Rayfrando Diaz III said the tentative venue for the launching is at the Capitol Lagoon and Park in Bacolod City.
Diaz said the provincial government is allocating P25 million for the festival and each town and city participating will also receive financial assistance.
Now on its 30th year, the festival will feature festival dances, Manila and local bands and a new event dubbed the “Best of Negros Products”.
The province has partnered with the Association of Negros Producers for this year’s event.
