To properly manage infectious hospital wastes, the provincial government of Negros Occidental officially power up its Nitrous Oxide Decomposer.

Gov. Bong Lacson led the ceremonial powering up of the waste facility at the Teresita L. Jalandoni Provincial Hospital in Silay City, yesterday, December 31.

The facility is intended for the management of hospital wastes in provincial government-run hospitals.

Gov. Lacson said that hospital waste is a concern if it is not managed well. He also said that the project is part of upgrading and improving the facilities of the Provincial Hospital to improve public health services.
