Cadiz CHO workers exposed to COVID positive

A number of birthing personnel assigned at the City Health Office of Cadiz were exposed to a reported case of COVID-19, which prompted the local health unit to shut down its operations temporarily, effective today, November 4.

In an advisory released by Cadiz PIO, it said that all birthing staff have to undergo RT- PCR testing and mandatory quarantine therafter.

All outpatient examinations are suspended temporarily until further notice. It will only handle emergency cases and deliveries.

As of November 3, 2020 (8:00 PM), the city has recorded 614 remaining PUMs (Person under Monitoring), with 60 patients under quarantined at St. Andrew’s Park Place II and Healing Center, while 554 are on strict home quarantine.
