The ambulance of Brgy. Felisa was the subject of a viral video uploaded on Facebook over the weekend were the uploader alleged that the responders themselves were the violators of the health protocol against COVID-19.
This after personnels disembarked from the ambulance and were seen not wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment when they allegedly plan to extract a COVID-19 positive, according to the video uploader.
In a now deleted video, a number of individuals were heard shouting and questioning the responders who came without any PPE. In the middle of the video it was seen that 2 personnel rush back to the ambulance and left. No audible audio was recorded as to what transpired in their conversation.
A woman was even heard on video saying that the responders were the primary violators of the protocol.
However, Brgy. Captain Ramon Jardin of Felisa clarified that the staff who were on board the ambulance are from the Barangay Health Emergency Response Team (BHERTs) and not the extracting team.
Jardin said the team went to the house of the COVID-19 positive to advise the family to prepare as a team from the City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (CDRRMO) is scheduled to pick-up the patient.
